I wish I live in Cali! Everyone I admire lives there! Maybe someday! The only thing I probably wouldn't fit in with all the bleach blonde people!

Wofpits, Highway 101 runs right through Encinitas and Solana Beach. In fact one of the greatest record stores I've ever been in, Lou's Records is on Highway 101. I used to live a block away and spent many hours browsing their aisles
Lou's!!! I love that place, I used to go there after surfing and buy clash and madness records.
What a different points!!!
We love "Highway 101" and it was second song which we listened in the beginning on this year wishing for mood of this song follow with us all year (after half of year it's really begins) . Nice words Michelle - we feel it.
Anyway we think this is cool that everyone who listening "S,L& R'n'R" have favourite song. Mike Ness is good songwriter.
Yeah, it is a great song to listen to while driving, no matter where you are. It just happened to be in the perfect setting that day and I was driving on the very highway that Mike was singing about.
Lostheart, I thought of you the other night too. I went out for sushi with some friends, and one friend had brought 2 guys from Germany that are staying with him for 2 months. I had a very interesting conversation with them and learned they are both Social D fans as well. They were very sorry to have missed the shows in Europe, since they have not seen Social D since '97 too. They are in California right now, and Social D is in Germany! I felt so bad for them!
Miss Mulisha, aahh well, the grass is always greener I guess. I would give anything to live in Europe! I love it there! Last time I was in Europe, I did not want to get on the plane to go home!
Wolfpits, the 101 cuts off here and there along the coast, but I picked it up in Oceanside and drove it almost to La Jolla, where it ends completely.
Sickgirl, you would love Cali! But don't let the TV shows fool ya. There are people from all walks of life, who are into different things. People here are pretty openminded and laid-back. That's what I love about it. There are some people from the midwest and east coast who think California is full of weirdos. Well, guess what? It is. And I wouldn't change it for the world. Are you sure your not thinking of Highway 1 (PCH). Thats something completely different.
Nope, the signs say "Highway 101" all through Oceaside, Encinitas, etc. They they disappear somewhere around Del Mar. Does it turn into highway 1 somewhere along there?
Im wrong...I have no clue sometimes....some of these California Roads are so back asswards. Reminds me of Pittsburgh road maps. half the time you have no idea of what road your on. I always get confused with highway 1 and 101. i know the 101 goes to northern california and crosses the golden gate bridge, and goes down through Santa Cruz and Big Sur. I thought the PCH went to San Clemente and picked back up in Oceanside and when from there.
Lou's is still one of the coolest record stores ever. Gigs in the parking lot and a block from Stone Steps, God I wish I still lived there.
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Well actually everybody on this board from Cali. does seem super awesome! I guess it is all the celebs who make it look bad... so is Hollywood really that horrid? I mean Mike busts on it on the DVD... I love that part when he talks about driving and seeing dudes cruising around and the gym with the live DJ. That's sooo funny!Quote:
